War

Anne Frank had to leave everything behind, apart from a few things she can carry in one bag. All has to be decided in one day.

What would you take with you? Not even knowing what's coming? Or if you would survive?

Imagine you have to leave everything behind, your whole built-up life, your identity and all of your memories and exchange them for... days of uncertainty and fear.

We can't even imagine and in the end there's no need to, it's not war now well at least not where we live. As in the end there's always somewhere in the world war going on.

But it does make me stand still, about my life. What's the worth of all my belongings, my achievements and success?

In one day... nothing

You see, in the end everything fades, nothing lasts forever and the fires of life burn all to ashes to make space for new life and growth... just until that burns.
