Red Island House is an ancient farmhouse built on a small hillside with Lough Mask right at the doorstep. From outside the house you have 360° views over the lake and surrounding mountains.
It's absolutely out-of-this-world and the perfect getaway from the daily hustle of life.
As it offers lake access it's perfect for a day out on a fishing boat which are available when interested. Or you could enjoy a cool dive in the lake's waters. There's also kayaks available for rent.
Wake up on the sound of bleating sheep, the cuckoo's call or squabbling swallows. Enjoy an early breakfast at the picnic bench surprised by the swan family passing by or have a late evening dinner taken aback by uncountable sky-lighting stars
The cottage consists of a living room, a kitchen-diner, a master ensuite bedroom, two twin bedrooms served with a family bathroom and one bunk bedroom and shower room. The cottage can accommodate up to 8 guests.
There's central heating to keep you warm and for cosy evenings by the fire there's a wood burning stove available. It's a perfect getaway from day-to-day routine. There's also WiFi, a TV and stereo with radio available.
